Digital Inclusive Finance and Regional Carbon Emissions:Mechanism Identification and Spatial Spillover
摘要
Abstract
Based on the panel data of 237 prefecture-level cities in China from 2011 to 2021,the bidi-rectional fixed effect model and the mediating effect model were adopted to empirically analyze the impact and mechanism of digital inclusive finance on regional carbon emission levels,and further the spatial Durbin model was used to analyze its spatial spillover effect.The research finds that digital inclusive finance can effectively promote carbon emission reduction;Upgrading the industrial structure,improving energy efficiency and regional technological innovation are the key ways to achieve carbon emission reduction;The impact of digital inclusive finance on carbon emission intensity is heterogeneous in different dimensions,regions and administrative lev-els;Digital inclusive finance has a negative spatial spillover effect on the carbon emission intensity of the sur-rounding areas.关键词
