Improvement of Video Stream Transmission Capability Based on Improved Routing Protocol
摘要
Abstract
To improve the interoperability and transmission capability of video stream over heterogeneous networks,a novel method of adaptive quality of service(QoS)-aware ad hoc on-demand distance vector(AQA-AODV)protocol in improved mo-bile ad hoc network(MANET)is proposed.The proposed method integrates gateway search and selection algorithm into AQA-AODV protocol,and solves the problem that AODV protocol is only applicable to ad hoc environment.The video stream transmission based on the proposed method is simulated in the NS-2 network simulator,and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified.The simulation test results of video transmission show that by adjusting the transmission rate of the signal source and the parameters of the gateway search algorithm,network congestion and packet loss can be reduced,and the packet loss during transmission has a great impact on video quality with high spatio-temporal activity rate.关键词
