Abstract
The sub-synchronous oscillations(SSO)induced by centralized grid-connected renewable energy are characterized by fast response and wide area propagation.The synchrophasor provided by the phasor measurement unit(PMU)has the core advantages of wide-area synchronization and a high refresh rate.It can realize real-time online monitoring of SSO.The SSO parameter identification methods based on synchrophasor can be divided into spectral analysis methods and non-spectral analysis methods.Spectral analysis methods have limitations in shortening the data window due to the need for approximation or omission processing when dealing with spectral leakage.The non-spectral analysis methods,on the other hand,might find new opportunities in this challenge since they involve no approximations or omissions.Based on this premise,this paper starts from the research of the characteristics of synchrophasors under SSO,then reviews and analyzes the theory and performance of non-spectral analysis methods,and then investigates the opportunities,limitations,and improvement ideas of these methods.Finally,prospects for future technological developments of non-spectral analysis methods are made,and the concepts presented in this paper are verified using both synthetic and actual PMU data.关键词
