Abstract

As national requirements for nitrogen oxide(NOx)emissions become more stringent,reducing NOx emissions has become an environmental priority.Compared with other fossil fuels,natural gas combustion produces fewer pollutants,and as the proportion of natural gas consumption increases,so do the NOx emissions.This paper analyzes and evaluates the implementation of the retrofit in conjunction with the low NOx combustion retrofit of the boiler.Steam injection boiler,heating furnace safety control,thermal efficiency and operational stability and other types of indicators in accordance with the operational requirements of the basis,NOx emission indicators to meet the requirements of the 50 mg/m³ limit,a single steam injection boiler retrofit emission reduction of 8.1-11.94 t/a,a single heating furnace NOx emission reduction in the range of 0.49-1.30 t/a,the retrofit project is expected to reduce emissions of 2 800 t/a or so,the emission reduction rate of 70%.When remarkable results have been achieved in the control of NOx,the thermal efficiency index of some steam injection boilers has been affected to a certain extent,the monitoring data shows that the thermal efficiency index has decreased by about 1 percentage point compared with that before the transformation.In actual production,supporting measures such as optimizing the air distribution parameters of the boiler and improving the thermal insulation structure of the furnace are required to maximize the energy efficiency of the boiler.
