摘要

Abstract

To effectively prevent the frequent occurrence of ecological disasters(e.g.red tide,green tide and jellyfish blooms)in the offshore waters of Qinhuangdao,the Institute of Oceanology of Chinese Academy of Sciences,joined hands with the Yellow and Dong Sea Station of the China Offshore Ocean Observation and Research Network to deploy an integrated observational system using a six-meter anchor buoy(No.23)in Qinhuangdao nearshore waters of Bohai Sea(39°40.88′N,119°35.53′E)at the end of April 2021.Since deployment,the system has continuously collected and stored real-time observation data.Among the observations,sea surface temperature and salinity are critical environmental indicators that play a key role in better understanding the physical and ecological characteristics of the region.To make better use of these valuable observational data,based on the time series data of the sea surface temperature and salinity collected from Buoy No.23 from May 2021 to April 2023,this study adopted statistical methods for data preprocessing and quality control,resulting in a dataset of daily averaged temperature and salinity observations for 24 consecutive months.The dataset includes 686 records of temperature and 659 records of salinity.This dataset is available for download by researchers and serves as a valuable resource for scientific research,as well as for the sustainable development of local marine economy,fishery and tourism.
