Abstract

Studying the regulation of mineral elements requirement for the growth of Orah fruit and determining the reasonable fertilizer rate and application time of Orah can provide scientific basis for precise fertilization of Orah.In Wuming District,Nanning City,Guangxi,Orah in high-yielding period(6-year-old)was selected as the experimental object.Fruits were harvested every 30 days to determine the contents and accumulations of N,P,K,Ca,Mg,S,Fe,Mn,Cu,Zn,and B of whole fruit.According to the characteristics of fruit growth and development,fruits development stages of 0 to 30 days after flowering(flowering and fruiting stage),31 to 120 days after flowering(young fruit stage),121 to 240 days after flowering(stage of fruit swelling to middle stage of color break),and 241 to 300 days after flowering(middle and late stage of color break to maturity stage)were defined as stage 0,stage Ⅰ,stage Ⅱ,and stage Ⅲ,respectively.During the growth and development process of Orah fruit,the fresh and dry weight increased gradually.The growth rate of fresh weight of Orah fruit was in the order of Stage Ⅱ>Stage Ⅰ ≈ Stage Ⅲ,and the growth rate of dry weight was in the order of Stage Ⅱ>Stage Ⅲ>Stage Ⅰ.The growth rates of fruit transverse and longitudinal diameters were both in the order of stage Ⅰ>stage Ⅱ>stage Ⅲ,and the growth rate of fruit transverse diameter was higher than that of longitudinal diameter.Except for Ca and Mg content,which showed the trend of initial increase followed by decrease,the content of other elements showed a decreasing trend.The accumulation of mineral elements was gradually increased with the growth and development of fruits.The accumulation of macro and medium elements was in the order of N>K>Ca>P>Mg>S,and that of trace elements was Fe>B>Mn>Zn>Cu.The accumulation of N,P,K,and S was in the order of stageⅡ>stage Ⅰ>stage Ⅲ>stage 0,while the accumulation of Ca and Mg was in the order of stage Ⅰ>stage Ⅱ>stage Ⅲ>stage 0,and the accumulation of Fe,Mn,Cu,Zn,and B was in the order of stage Ⅱ>stage Ⅰ>stage Ⅲ>stage 0.The accumulation of N,P,K,Ca,Mg,S,Fe,Mn,Cu,Zn,and B of fruit in stage Ⅱ accounted for 48.16%,48.54%,44.31%,35.36%,37.82%,42.17%,61.06%,48.00%,50.45%,42.17%,and 49.04%of its total accumulation,respectively.The growth and development of fruits were closely related to the accumulation of various mineral elements.Fruit enlargement mainly occurred in stages Ⅰ and Ⅱ.Stage Ⅱ had the highest increase of fresh and dry fruit weight,as well as accumulation of most mineral elements,and this stage also had the higher demanding for water.Overall,the demand of mineral elements in different stages of fruits was in the order of stage Ⅱ>stage Ⅰ>stage Ⅲ>stage 0,with the highest demand for Ca and Mg in stage Ⅰ.
