摘要

Abstract

To better understand the regulatory network of the target of rapamycin(TOR)signaling and its biological functions in plant growth and development and stress response,a literature search was conducted in databases such as Web of Science and the National Center for Biotechnology Information by taking"TOR","glucose","growth and development","SnRK1"and"signaling network"as keywords.A total of 78 relevant articles were obtained.By summarizing and analyzing these studies,the basic structural information of plant TOR kinase,the TOR signaling network,the Glc-TOR signaling pathway and the regulatory mechanisms between TOR and SnRK1 were elucidated.Furthermore,the key roles of the TOR signaling pathway in regulating plant growth,development and responses to abiotic stresses were reviewed.The results indicate that:Most plants contain only one TOR kinase.TORC1 is composed of TOR,RAPTOR and LST8 subunits.TOR kinase contains HEAT,FAT,FRB,Kinase and FATC domains.TOR kinase regulates protein sythesis during cell growth and development by responding to light,amino acids,hormones,etc.TOR kinase plays a role in the regulation of root branching,stress,ABA signaling and mineral uptake.TOR functions collectively with other nutrient signaling networks such as Glc and SnRK1 to achieve integration and coordination of gene expression,metabolism,growth and survival.
