A dataset of amino acids,minerals,and vitamins content in Galla-derived honey collected by Apis cerana cerana from Guizhou Province

Abstract
The content of active substances like amino acids in honey is an important factor in evaluating its quality,as the levels of these active substances varies with plant source and altitude.Guizhou Province,characterized by its distinctive Karst topography,is a primary producer of Galla-derived honey in autumn.This study randomly selected honey samples from bee-keeping farms in 10 regions(Longli,Dushan,Taijiang,Duyun,Xifeng,Fenggang,Bijiang,Majiang,Zhen'an,and Kaiyang),where gallnuts are predominantly distributed in Guizhou Province,from September to October 2023.The study measured the content of 16 free and hydrolyzed amino acids(aspartic acid,threonine,serine,glutamic acid,glycine,alanine,valine,methionine,isoleucine,leucine,tyrosine,phenylalanine,lysine,histidine,arginine,proline),mineral content(calcium,iron,magnesium,zinc,copper,potassium,sodium,manganese,phosphorus,and selenium),and vitamin content(vitamin A,carotene,vitamin B1,vitamin B2,vitamin B6,vitamin B12,pantothenic acid,niacin,folic acid,vitamin C,vitamin D3,vitamin E,biotin,and vitamin K)in the honey samples.Each sample was tested in triplicate,with all analyses strictly conducted following relevant national standard methods and quality control procedures.The test results have been uploaded to a public database in.xlsx format.This dataset can provide data support for the analysis and evaluation of the content and variations of active substances in gallnut multifloral honey from Guizhou Province.关键词
