超声冲洗技术在牙髓炎根管治疗中的应用效果观察
Observation on the Application Effect of Ultrasonic Irrigation Technique in Root Canal Treatment for Pulpitis

Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of ultrasonic irrigation technique in root canal treatment for pulpitis.Methods A total of 78 patients with pulpitis treated in our hospital from January 2022 to June 2024 were divided into two groups using the random number table method,with 39 cases in each group.The control group received manual root canal irrigation,while the study group underwent ultrasonic root canal irrigation.The clinical efficacy,filling status of lateral canals,pain scores[Visual Analog Scale(VAS)],the levels of inflammatory markers[interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-8)],and complications were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 97.44％,and the filling rate of lateral canals was 24.14％,higher than 76.92％and 8.93％in the control group,respectively(P＜0.05).At 3 days,7 days,and 14 days after treatment,the VAS scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).After 7 days of treatment,the levels of IL-6 and IL-8 in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The complication rate in the study group was 2.56％,significantly lower than 20.51％in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusions Ultrasonic irrigation technique is highly effective in root canal treatment for pulpitis,and can significantly improve the filling rate of lateral canals,significantly reduce postoperative pain of patients at the affected area,effectively alleviate inflammation,and higher safety,which holds higher value for clinical promotion and application.关键词
