The Value of Carotid Artery Ultrasound Combined with Cardiac Ultrasound Parameters in Predicting Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events in AMI Pa-tients after Interventional Surgery

Abstract
Objective To explore the value of carotid artery ultrasound combined with cardiac ultrasound parameters in predicting major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE)after interventional therapy in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI).Methods Seventy AMI patients admitted to our hospital from September 2023 to January 2025 were selected as objects and were divided into MACE group(n=18)and non-MACE group(n=52)according to the occurrence of MACE in the patients.All patients underwent carotid artery ultrasound and cardiac ultrasound examinations to analyze the efficacy of ultrasound parameters in predicting MACE after interventional surgery in AMI patients.Results The CIMT,LVED and IVST in the MACE group were higher than those in the non-MACE group,and the LVEF was lower than that in the non-MACE group(P＜0.05).The results of Logistic multivariate analysis showed that CIMT(OR=2.784),LVED(OR=2.659),LVEF(OR=0.603),and IVST(OR=3.050)were independent influencing factors for the occurrence of MACE in AMI patients after interventional surgery(P＜0.05).The AUCs of CIMT,LVED,LVEF,IVST and combined detection in predicting the occurrence of MACE after interventional surgery in AMI patients were 0.815,0.761,0.741,0.804 and 0.976,respectively;the AUC of the combined detection in predicting the occurrence of MACE after interventional surgery in AMI patients was higher than that of each index applied alone(all P＜0.05).Conclusions The carotid artery ultrasound and cardiac ultrasound parameters are closely related to the occurrence of MACE in AMI patients after interventional surgery,and the combined application of the two examination methods can improve the predictive value of MACE.关键词
