Abstract
Osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture(OVCF)is a disease type of vertebral compression fracture caused by mild external force or even no external force due to the decrease of bone mineral density and bone quality caused by osteoporosis.Reconstruction is an effective measure for the treatment of this type of fracture in recent years.Expandable vertebroplasty device is commonly used in the operation,it can restore the height of the vertebral body and provide stable support through the expansion mechanism,which can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and quality of life of patients.This article briefly introduced the working principle and working characteristics of the expandable vertebroplasty device,and systematically reviewed the application progress of the expandable vertebroplasty device in the reconstruction of OVCF in recent years in order to understand its application advantages and complications.关键词
