不同浓度NaCl溶液胁迫对棉花种子萌发特性的影响

Abstract
This study investigated the germination characteristics of cotton seeds under different salt concentrations to provide a reference for improving salt tolerance during plant germination.Using eight cotton varieties(H4,H18,H29,H35,H37,H38,H43 and H52)as experimental materials,NaCl solution concentration gradients were set at 0.05,0.1,0.15,0.2 and 0.3 mol/L to determine the effects of NaCl stress on cotton seed germination.Under NaCl stress,parameters such as relative germination rate,seed fresh weight,relative germination potential,seed dry weight,and relative germination index generally showed an initial increase followed by a decline as salt concentration increased,indicating that low salt concentrations promoted seed germination.The results revealed the following order of salt tolerance under NaCl stress:H4>H43>H35>H38>H52>H29>H18>H37.These findings provide a basis for selecting salt-tolerant cotton varieties in Xinjiang's cotton production.关键词
