Fingerprint of Panax notoginseng Fibrous Root and Content Determination of Its Ginsenosides

Abstract
Objective:To establish the high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)fingerprint of Panax notoginseng fibrous root,compare the differences in major ginsenosides between the fibrous root and main root,and analyze the influence of multiple factors on the content of notoginsenoside R2(S)and ginsenoside Rh1 in the fibrous root.Methods:HPLC was used to establish the fingerprint,and the Traditional Chinese Medicine Chromatographic Fingerprint Similarity Evaluation System(version 2.0)was applied to evaluate similarity and identify common peaks.Additionally,the content of major ginsenosides in the fibrous root and main root was determined.Results:The HPLC fingerprint of P.notoginseng fibrous root was established,with seven identified components:notoginsenoside R1,ginsenoside Rg1,ginsenoside Re,notoginsenoside R2(S),ginsenoside Rb1,ginsenoside Rh1,and ginsenoside Rd.The proportions of notoginsenoside R2(S)and ginsenoside Rh1 in total saponins were significantly higher in the fibrous root than in the main root.Among different drying methods,the content of notoginsenoside R2(S)and ginsenoside Rh1 followed the order:fresh sample>oven-dried sample>shade-dried sample>sun-dried sample.Conclusion:The established HPLC fingerprint of P.notoginseng fibrous root is stable and reliable.A comprehensive analysis of the content of notoginsenoside R2(S)and ginsenoside Rh1 provides a reference for the development and utilization of P.notoginseng fibrous root.关键词
