连翘果实生长发育规律及适宜采收期研究
Fruit Growth and Development Law and Suitable Harvesting Period of Forsythia suspensa

Abstract
Objective:To delineate the growth period and determine the suitable harvesting period of Forsythia suspensa fruits.Methods:The morphological features of F.suspensa fruits were regularly observed,and the dry weight per thousand fruits and the yield per plant of F.suspensa were measured.The content of forsythin and forsythiaside A was determined by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC),and the content of volatile oil was also determined.Results:The growth period of F.suspensa fruits was divided into fruit-setting stage(started on April 10),young fruit stage(started on April 20),fruit expanding stage(started on May 15),fruit filling stage(started on July 10),green ripe stage(started on August 10),yellow ripe stage(started on October 10),and full ripe stage(started on November 1).The fruits were green before the yellow ripe stage and ripe at the yellow ripe stage and full ripe stage.Throughout the growth period,the content of forsythin and forsythiaside A in the fruits showed a decreasing trend,while that per plant showed an upward trend followed by a downward trend.From July 20 to September 30,the content of forsythin and forsythiaside A in green fruits met the requirement in the 2020 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia and internal quality control standards of enterprises.Before August 20,the content of forsythin and forsythiaside A were high.Then,the dry weight per thousand fruits and the yield per plant of F.suspensa were high,varying within the ranges of 132.22-132.81 g and 152.05-152.73 g,respectively.On October 10,the yield per plant and the content of forsythin and forsythiaside A in ripe fruits were higher than those at other time points.On November 10,the content of forsythin in ripe fruits was only 0.08%,which failed to meet the requirement in the 2020 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia.Conclusion:The growth period of F.suspensa can be delineated into seven stages,and the suitable harvesting periods of green and ripe fruits of F.suspensa are from July 20 to September 30 and from October 10 to October 30,respectively.关键词
