摘要

Abstract

With the continuous expansion of Chinese patent medicine(CPM)market,ensuring its quality and safety has become a key concern.Traditional identification methods have certain limitations when dealing with complex samples.In recent years,molecular biology techniques have been widely applied to the identification of biological components in CPM.DNA barcoding technology has made significant progress in the identification of single-component CPM.Novel polymerase chain reaction(PCR technologies),such as real-time quantitative PCR(qRT-PCR)and droplet digital PCR(ddPCR),have improved detection sensitivity and accuracy.The development of mini-barcode technology has enhanced the success rate of identifying degraded samples and enabled species-specific recognition.DNA chip technology enables efficient and precise identification of the genetic characteristics of Chinese medicinal materials.For complex samples,amplicon metabarcoding(AMB)technology provides a more accurate method for species detection,though it remains susceptible to PCR bias.Shotgun metagenomic sequencing,which does not require PCR amplification,demonstrates potential for species identification in complex samples.Additionally,single-molecule real-time(SMRT)sequencing,a third-generation sequencing technology,offers broader prospects for CPM identification.This study summarizes recent advancements in molecular identification methods for CPM and proposes that future research should focus on addressing technical bottlenecks such as DNA extraction,data analysis,and database development.It emphasizes the need to advance standardized and intelligent tools to provide more reliable technical support for CPM quality control and market regulation.
