Abstract

Textiles with radiative cooling functions can effectively reduce the harmful effects of high tempera-tures on the human body and objects.In this paper,polyester fabric was taken as the substrate,organosilicon-modified acrylate emulsion,modified BaSO4 and modified ZnO particles were mixed and dispersed,and then applied to the polyester fabric by using a scraping technique,resulting in a passive daytime radiative cooling(PDRC)coated fabric with self-cleaning and anti-UV properties.The results indicated that at a coating amount of 17.2 mg/cm2,the coated fabric achieved an average reflectivity of 91.7%in the solar wavelength band(0.3 μm~2.5 μm)and an average emissivity of 91.2%in the atmospheric window(8 μm~13 μm).Com-pared with regular polyester fabric,the coated fabric offered a maximum temperature reduction of 5.2℃and demonstrated superior self-cleaning,wear resistance and mechanical properties.After undergoing accelerated UV aging for 24 hours,the coated fabric maintained its reflectivity and K/S value with an average UVA transmittance of 0.05%and a UPF value of 1755.3,showing its excellent anti-UV properties.
