Quantitative Prediction of Igneous Intrusion-Metamorphic Zone Reservoirs:A Case Study From the Second Member of the Funing Formation in the Shanian Area,Gaoyou Sag

Abstract
This study conducts quantitative identification research on the metamorphic zone reservoirs of shallow intrusive rocks in the second member of the Funing Formation in the Shanian Area,Gaoyou Sag,by comprehen-sively utilizing drilling/logging information and high-resolution 3D seismic data.Firstly,reservoir characteristics of intrusive rock metamorphic zones in the study area were clarified.Logging data indicate that diabase exhibits a"two lows and two highs"(low natural gamma GR,low acoustic interval transit time AC,high resistivity RT,and high density DEN)response characteristic compared to surrounding rocks,with no significant negative anomaly in the spontaneous potential SP curve.The response characteristics of the metamorphic zone in terms of GR/AC/RT/DEN show certain differences compared to the surrounding non-metamorphic strata,and the SP value exhibits a large negative anomaly.On seismic profiles,diabase exhibits strong amplitude,low frequency,and good continuity,forming a"two troughs sandwiching one peak"configuration with overlying and underlying metamorphic zones.Sec-ondly,a main thickness prediction method based on seismic waveform structure attribute is designed.The wave peak skewness seismic attribute and reflection intensity slope seismic attribute are extracted to identify major thick-ness development zones of diabase metamorphic belts.Finally,a multi-parameter joint inversion prediction ap-proach is proposed.By fully leveraging various logging information,this method employs multi-parameter joint in-version to identify diabase and metamorphic zones in seismic profiles.Subsequently,based on lithologic shielding processing technology and lithology thickness calculation methods,the main thickness of diabase and metamorphic zones is quantitatively predicted.Practical data applications demonstrate that prediction results show high consisten-cy with actual drilling outcomes.关键词
