摘要

Abstract

The proof stress of low-relaxation prestressing strands is the turning point to hardening stage after yielding,and its value affects the nonlinear constitutive model and the long-term behaviors of prestressed con-crete bridges.Firstly,the differences in the proof stress and yield strength ratio of low-relaxation prestressing strands in the relevant specifications in China,the United States,and Europe are compared.Secondly,based on the general formula of the Giuffrè-Menegotto-Pinto(GMP)constitutive model for steel strands,the full curve equation of the constitutive model of low-relaxation prestressing strands is established using the defini-tion of the proof stress in the specifications in China,the United States,and Europe.The residual strain near the proof stress significantly increases nonlinearly.Furthermore,based on the constitutive model,the residual strains of low-relaxation prestressing strands meeting these three specifications are calculated under the tension control stress and relaxation test stress levels.In addition,a normal distribution model for the strength and proof stress of low-relaxation prestressing strands established by relevant foreign experiments is proposed.Fi-nally,suggestions are made for improving the proof stress of low-relaxation prestressing strands in Chinese specifications,and the necessity of conducting long-term relaxation loss tests is discussed.
