摘要

Abstract

To establish China as a maritime power,the development of the marine economy and the protection of the marine ecological environment are both closely tied to the training of skilled personnel,which requires substantial human resources support.Specifically,there is an urgent need for top-tier innovative talents capable of participating in international marine governance and advancing key technologies in the marine sector.In this context,the Southampton Ocean Engineering Joint Institute,a collaboration between Harbin Engineering University and the University of Southampton(hereinafter referred to as the"JEI").This paper uses the course"Systems Design and Computing for Ships"offered by the JEI as a case study to explore how to develop a teaching model for international cooperation under the framework of new engineering education,with the aim of providing valuable insights for Sino-foreign educational collaborations at higher institutions.
