Abstract

The flexibly interconnected distribution network based on soft open points can achieve the precise control of power flow distribution.However,the strong randomness of the high proportion of renewable energy tends to cause the violation of the safety operation constraints of the distribution network.To enhance the capability of the distribution network in response to random changes of renewable energy power and load,an evaluation and optimization improvement method considering the constraints of voltage and equipment capacity is proposed for safety margin intervals in the flexibly interconnected distribution network.Firstly,the capability of the distribution network to cope with random changes of load and renewable energy output is represented by the fluctuation range of the system allowable load and renewable energy output.A safety margin index for the distribution network and a fast calculation method based on linear power flow are proposed,which can effectively evaluate and compare the system capability to cope with random changes in the renewable energy.Secondly,an optimization improvement method for the safety margin in the flexibly interconnected distribution network is proposed,which considers the probability distribution of renewable energy power and load.The optimization model is linearized to improve the solving speed.Finally,simulation analysis is conducted on the distribution networks with three-port soft open points.The results show that the proposed method can effectively evaluate the fluctuation range of the allowable load and renewable energy output in the flexibly interconnected distribution network and improve the system capability to cope with random changes in renewable energy power and load.
