摘要

Abstract

A novel multi-beam klystron based linear accelerator system,powered by C-band 3 MW multi-beam klystron,which can give out 6 MeV energy electron beam is introduced.Compared with traditional S-band accelerator,this system can work under high repetition frequency,with high stability and long operating life.The overall design concept of the accelerator system is presented,including detail discussion on the design of core components such as multi-beam klystron power source,6 MeV standing wave accelerator,frequency automatic control system.Finally the system is tested and analyzed,including air absorption dose rate,energy,focus size,and stability.This accelerator has advantages in terms of lifespan,stability,and dose rate.
