摘要

Abstract

The changes and interrelationships of soil organic carbon,nitrogen content and organic carbon components before,during and after deep tillage cultivation of Dioscorea opposita were analyzed,and the impacts of deep tillage on the soil organic carbon content and long-term sequestration were explored in the North China Plain.Wet sieving was used to classify organic carbon components by particle sizes,and potassium dichromate sulfate external heating method was used to determine the contents of soil organic carbon and its components.The results showed that:(1)Deep tillage led to the increase of the organic carbon content in both upper and deep soils,respectively;about 10 years after the cessation of deep tillage,the organic carbon content in deep soil decreased,but still higher than the soil without deep tillage cultivation;the organic carbon content in the upper soil significantly increased after the cessation of deep tillage.(2)Deep tillage increased the contents of free particulate organic carbon(FPOC)and mineral-associated organic carbon(MOC),respectively,whereas there was no increase in the content of occluded particulate organic carbon(OPOC).The FPOC content decreased after the the stop of deep tillage,while the OPOC and MOC contents increased,respectively.(3)The deep tillage induced soil nitrogen increase,which promoted the content increase and stabled sequestration of soil organic carbon.The three organic carbon components all had promoting effects on the growth of soil organic carbon sequestration,while the increase of MOC was an important reason and the main carbon component of the sustained organic carbon sequestration in deep plowed soils.Therefore,deep tillage cultivation of D.opposita could increase the soil organic carbon sink and long-term storage capacity in the farmland of North China Plain.
