摘要

Abstract

To study the load characteristics and mechanism of ice-podded propulsor collision,a test platform for ice-water-podded propulsor collision was built in this study.Ice-podded and ice-water-podded propulsor collision tests were conducted successively with the help of saltwater ice,and a set of ice-load test methods during the ice-water-podded propulsor collision was formed.The ice load,coupling process,and ice failure mode of the propeller,strut,and pod at different ice velocities were measured and captured.The experimental results showed that when the ice paddle,ice bracket,and ice cabin collided in air and water,with the increase in ice block movement speed,the peak value of ice load increased correspondingly,and its oscillation range expanded,which further led to the prolongation of oscillation duration and ultimately exacerbated the degree of ice block fragmentation.The ice-water-propeller collision effect in the propeller indicated that water separation,reflux,and the overturning of the blade surface from the top of the propeller can be clearly observed.The test results provide support for the study of the ice-water-podded propulsion collision mechanism and numerical simulation research.
