摘要

Abstract

In response to the applications requirements of high power,high efficiency,high relia-bility,and multi-polarization for the active feed system of the 5m S-SAR satellite,a solid-state active feed network that adopts a phased array feed approach is devised in this paper.Based on the original centralized feed system,the design concept of phased array is introduced to achieve RF high-power active feed and the multi-polarization working mode through transmitter/receiver(T/R)components and beam control units,etc..The performance indicators of high power,high efficiency,and high reliability of the feed system have been accomplished by applying the GaN compound semiconductor high-power devices.A solid-state active feed network system with ex-cellent mechanical and thermal properties has been formed through the integration of mechanical and thermal design.The project has completed the required environmental test assessment and submitted the 5m S-SAR satellite installation application verification.The results demonstrate that the solid-state active feed network can meet the application requirements of the satellite.
