数字经济对居民收入差距的影响机制与时间收敛性分析
Analysis of the Impact Mechanism and Time Convergence of Digital Economy on Residents' Income Gap

Abstract
As a driving force for economic development,whether the digital economy can narrow the income gap between urban and rural residents is a key topic in promoting the process of common prosperity.Based on the panel data from 30 regions in China from 2013 to 2022,a fixed effects model was used to investigate the impact and mechanism of the digital economy development index on the income gap between urban and rural residents.The results indicated that the digital economy development index had a significant positive impact on the income gap between urban and rural residents at the 0.01 level,and showed an inverted U-shaped trend of first increasing and then decreasing.The initial development of the digital economy would widen the income gap between urban and rural residents,and as the digital economy further develops,it would narrow the income gap between urban and rural residents.At present,the overall level of China was on the left side of the turn-ing point.The impact of the digital economy development index on the income gap between urban and rural residents in the eastern and central regions showed an inverted U-shaped pattern,while in the western region it showed a U-shaped pattern.The digital economy could affect the income gap between urban and rural residents through the upgrading of industrial structure.The construction of transportation infrastructure played a converging role in the process of digital economy expanding the income gap between urban and rural residents.The sugges-tions for increasing financial investment to ensure full coverage of digital technology,developing targeted differentiated regional policies,enhancing the connec-tivity of transportation networks and promoting the flow of goods and labor,and encouraging rural areas to transform towards advanced industrial structure were proposed.关键词
