Abstract
To address the vibration issues of the middle outlet piers during flood discharge at Dahuashui Hydropower Station,the VOF model is employed to numerically simulate the hydraulic characteristics during the flood release process.Key hydraulic parameters including flow patterns,velocity distribution,pressure variations,and cavitation numbers are analyzed under different gate openings.The study reveals that when the gate is at a large opening,the lower edge of the water nappe contacts the bottom slab in the narrow slot section,causing turbulent flow and generating significant unstable hydrodynamic forces on the sidewalls and bottom of the piers,thereby inducing vibrations.A mitigation measure involving the addition of air vents to the middle outlets is proposed.Numerical simulations demonstrate that this measure enhances air intake in the bottom cavity,stabilizes the trajectory of the water nappe,and effectively reduces vibration amplitudes.This research provides theoretical insights for resolving vibration issues in hydropower station flood discharge outlets and holds significant implications for ensuring flood release safety and dam stability.关键词
