Development and Application of Integrated Data Platforms for Overseas New Energy Projects Under the Belt and Road Initiative

Abstract
To address the technical challenges in resource assessment and site selection for overseas new energy projects,this study develops an integrated data system combining the Global Power Information Analysis Research Platform and the Global Wind-Solar Resource Planning Investment Siting Platform.Through multi-source heterogeneous data fusion technology,the distributed architecture integrates meteorological satellite data,ground observations,and macro-level political-economic information.Grid computing and raster overlay analysis are employed to optimize site selection efficiency,while a four-tier data security framework ensures protection of sensitive data.The platform enables automated screening of PV/wind farm locations,grid integration scoring,and generation of pre-feasibility study reports.Site analysis efficiency is enhanced with concurrent processing capacity for million-scale datasets.This system provides a scientific decision-making tool for new energy investments in Belt and Road countries,effectively supporting overseas investment decisions of Chinese energy enterprises.关键词
