Heterogeneous communication network access selection algorithm for virtual power plants considering non-ideal transmission

Abstract
Virtual power plants(VPPs)can leverage heterogeneous networks to aggregate and dispatch distributed renewable energy resources,thereby enhancing overall system benefits.To improve the VPP's performance under non-ideal transmission conditions,such as packet loss and delay across different networks,a device access optimization algorithm for heterogeneous communication networks is proposed.First,the constraints of VPP devices,such as charging/discharging capacity,power generation characteristics,access network delay,and network carrying capacity are analyzed and summarized.An optimization model is then developed to minimize revenue loss by considering the packet loss rate and theoretical delay performance under heterogeneous networks.Next,the hierarchical solution and greedy algorithm are used to solve the model to obtain the access mode of the device.Finally,simulations verify the effectiveness and reliability of the proposed model and algorithm.The results show that the proposed algorithm improves the network access capacity,reduces system revenue loss,and maximizes overall gains.关键词
