Interval Model Updating Combining Symmetric KL Divergence

Abstract
To solve the problem of model updating error caused by the uncertainty of structural parameters and test data,and considering the influence of boundary conditions on structural response,an interval model updating method combining the symmetric Kullback-Leibler(KL)divergence is proposed.Firstly,the coefficients of Kriging model are optimized by the Latin hypercube sampling method and particle swarm optimization algorithm to construct the Kriging model.Then,the symmetric KL divergence is introduced to construct the objective function,and the midpoint and radius of the interval of structural parameters are updated synchronously by the optimization algorithm.The grey mathematics method is used to estimate response interval that the Kriging model predicted in iterative process.Finally,the cylinder flange connection model and the rocker arm link rod structure are used respectively to verify the proposed method.The results show that the finite element model updated by the proposed method is in better agreement with the actual structure than that updated by the method of solving the midpoint and radius of the parameter interval in steps.关键词
