Abstract
Objective To systematically evaluate and analyze the effect of traditional Chinese medicine foot bath in the treatment of diabetic painful neuropathy.Methods The CNKI,Wanfang Database,and PubMed database were retrieved,the retrieval period was from the establishment of the databases to March 11,2024.Randomized controlled trials(RCT)on the treatment of diabetic painful neuropathy with traditional Chinese medicine foot bath were included.The risk of bias in the included studies was evaluated using the Cochrane Manual RCT risk assessment tool.Data analysis was conducted using RevMan5.4 statistical software.The total clinical effective rate was taken as the primary outcome indicator,while the visual analogue scale(VAS)score and quality of life score were secondary indicators.Results A total of 10 studies were included in this study,and meta-analysis showed that the total clinical effective rate of the trial group was higher than that of the control group(RR=1.62,95％CI:1.24-1.50,P＜0.000 01),VAS score was lower than that of the control group(MD=-0.97,95％CI:-1.99--1.60.P＜0.000 01)quality of life score was(MD=3.24,95％CI:0.92-5.56,P=0.006),the differences were statisti-cally significant.Subgroup analysis suggested that different frequency and duration of medication had higher efficacy,but the clinical effective rate of combined medication(RR=1.31,95％CI:1.19-1.43,P＜0.000 01)was better than that of no combined medication(RR=1.38,95％CI:0.99-1.92,P=0.060).Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine foot bath treat-ment of painful diabetic neuropathy can significantly improve the effective rate,relieve the pain symptoms of patients,improve the quality of life of patients,and the combined effect is better.However,in the future,more high-quality RCT studies with large samples and multi-centers are needed for further demonstration.关键词
