Stress variation law of surrounding rock and its influence analysis of working face mining around irregular coal pillars

Abstract
Aiming at the mining of the working face around the residual coal pillar in No.3 coal seam of Xiangshan Mine,the FLAC3D was used to construct a three-dimensional numerical calculation model to study and analyze the stress evolution law in the mining process of the working face around the irregular coal pillar.The study result shows that the maximum influence range of the abutment pressure of the upper coal seam excavation on the front and both sides of the coal pillar is 90 m,the influence range of the advance abut-ment pressure in the lower coal seam is 80 m.The maximum vertical stress on the coal pillar is located at 485 m,675 m and 625 m re-spectively after mining in the working face,while the maximum vertical stress on the coal body is located at 625 m,675 m,and 555 m after mining in the 0 working face;At the same time,it is known that the influence of irregular coal pillars in the upper coal seam on the abutment pressure of the lower coal seam working face is more serious than that of the lower coal seam working face in the goaf.The maximum vertical stress is between 32.7 MPa and 65.5 MPa,which is easy to cause rock burst.关键词
