轴径向桨搅拌槽内层流流场的数值模拟
Numerical simulation of laminar flow in PB-RT paddle stirred tank

Abstract
To address the low mixing efficiency often observed in laminar flow regimes within stirred tanks,a novel pitched blade-Rushton turbine(PB-RT)paddle was designed.Numerical simulations were conducted using Fluent software,employing a laminar model,the multiple reference frame(MRF)approach,and tracer concentration methods to analyze both the flow field and mixing time.These simulations were then validated through experimental studies using tracer particles and acid-base neutralization with a color indicator.The results demonstrate that the PB-RT paddle generates a distinct four-vortex flow pattern,effectively breaking down the isolation between vortices and enhancing mixing performance.At an paddle speed of 200 r/min,the PB-RT paddle exhibits significantly im-proved mixing time and mixing energy per unit volume compared to both the standard Rushton turbine(RT)paddle and the six-pitched blade turbine(6PBT)paddle.Experimental validation confirms the accuracy of the numerical simulations,providing a theoretical basis for improving laminar mixing effi-ciency in stirred tanks.关键词
