基于XT-DIC的冻融裂隙砂岩裂纹扩展规律及损伤演化特征
Crack propagation law and damage evolution characteristics of freeze-thaw fractured sandstone based on XT-DIC

Abstract
Aiming at the problem that rock mechanical properties in cold regions are prone to deterioration under freeze-thaw cycle,the intact sandstone specimens and the prefabricated sandstone specimens with crack inclination angles of 0°,45° and 90°,respectively,were studied by combining uniaxial compression test and three-dimensional XT-digital image correlation(XT-DIC)to analyze their mechanical behaviors and failure characteristics after freeze-thaw damage.The research results indicate that prefabricated cracks and freeze-thaw cycles significantly degrade the mechanical properties of sandstone,and the cumulative damage of freeze-thaw specimens lags significantly behind that of unfrozen specimens.The peak strength is linearly negatively correlated with the number of freeze-thaw cycles,the apparent stiffness is exponentially negatively correlated with the number of freeze-thaw cycles,and the time required for crack propagation is positively correlated with the number of freeze-thaw cycles.The evolution of crack principal strain under uniaxial compression goes through three stages:approximate horizontal variation,slow growth,and rapid growth.The final failure mode of the specimen is mainly affected by the pre-crack inclination angle.The research results can provide reference for rock mass engineering design in cold regions.关键词
