Abstract
Objective:To explore the effects of intensive cognition intervention combined with Orem self-care nursing model on sleep quality and diagnosis-related uncertainty in patients with sudden deafness accompanied by tinnitus.Methods:A total of 80 patients with sudden deafness and tinnitus admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from December 2022 to December 2024 were selected as the research subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 40 patients in each group by random number table.The control group received routine nursing intervention,while the observa-tion group received intensive cognitive combined with Orem self-care nursing intervention.The Psychosocial Adjustment to Illness Scale(PAIS-SR)was used to evaluate the disease adaptation ability of two groups of patients before and after the intervention.The Mishel Uncertainty in Illness Scale(MUIS)was used to evaluate the diagnostic uncertainty of patients in the two groups and the Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)were used to evaluate the improvement of anxiety and de-pression of patients in the two groups.The Insomnia Severity Index(ISI)was used to compare the sleep severity and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to compare improvement in the sleep quality of patients in the two groups before and after intervention.Results:After two weeks of intervention,the PAIS-SR score,MUIS score,SAS score,SDS score,ISI score,and PSQI score of the two groups were all reduced and those of the observation group was significantly lower compared to the control group,with statistically significant difference between the two groups(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The intensive cognitive intervention com-bined with Orem self-care nursing model can reduce the diagnostic uncertainty of sudden deafness and tinnitus,improve their psy-chological state and sleep quality,relieve their anxiety and depression,and prevent the occurrence of sleep disorders.It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.关键词
