Abstract
This experiment aimed to study the effects of different planting densities on the agronomic traits,yield,and nutritional quality of forage sweet sorghum,to determine the optimal planting density of forage sweet sorghum.With forage sweet sorghum Hercules as the experimental material,100 000(group D1),120 000(group D2),140 000(group D3),160 000(group D4)and 180 000(group D5)plants/hm2 were set up to analyze and detect the differences in agronomic traits,yield and nutritional quality of Hercules at different planting densities.The results showed that the stem diameter of fed sweet sorghum in groups D1,D2 and D3 was significantly higher than that in group D5(P<0.05),and the plant heigh in groups D1 and D2 was significantly lower than that in groups D4 and D5(P<0.05).The lodging rate in groups D1 and D2 was significantly lower than that in groups D4 and D5(P<0.05),and the plant disease rate in groups D1,D2 and D3 was significantly lower than that in groups D4 and D5(P<0.05).The fresh grass yield in groups D3 and D4 was significantly higher than that of group D1(P<0.05),and the hay yield of group D1 was significantly lower than that of other groups(P<0.05).The sugar content of forage sweet sorghum in groups D1 and D2 was significantly higher than that in D5 group(P<0.05),and the neutral detergent fiber content in group D3 was significantly lower than that in groups D1 and D4(P<0.05).The results show that the agronomic traits,yield,and nutritional quality of forage sweet sorghum are better when the planting density was 140 000 plants/hm2.关键词
