Abstract

In order to explore the effect of chemical fertilizer reduction on the growth and yield of pepper on the basis of returning rape as green manure at full flowering stage,five treatments including conventional fertilization(CK),conventional fertilization+1 500.0 kg per 667 m2 of green manure returning to the field(T1),conventional fertilization reduction 10%+1 500.0 kg per 667 m2 of green manure returning to the field(T2),conventional fertilization reduction 20%+1 500.0 kg per 667 m2 of green manure returning to the field(T4)were set up,and the indexes of growth,yield and benefit of pepper of different treatments were compared and analyzed.The results showed that compared with CK,the pepper's stem diameter of T2 was significantly increased by 3.50%,the harvested fruits number per plant,the single fruit weight,the yield per 667 m2and net income per 667 m2 were extremely significantly increased by 9.94%,12.71%,18.54%and 13.63%,respectively.There was no significant difference between of T2 and T1 about the above indexes,which indicated that the effect of 10%reduction of chemical fertilizer was equivalent to that of no reduction chemical fertilizer under the condition of using rape as green manure returning to the field.However,the pepper's stem diameter,harvested fruit number per plant,the single fruit weight,yield per 667 m2 and net income per 667 m2 of T3 and T4 were significantly or extremely significantly lower than those of T1 and T2,and the harvested fruit number per plant,the single fruit weight and net income per 667 m2 were not significantly different from those of the control.In order to achieve the goal of reducing chemical fertilizer and increasing the efficiency,it is recommended to use fresh rape plants at full flowering stage as the green measure returning to the field in pepper planting in the experimental site and similar areas,and the amount of chemical fertilizer can be reduced by 10%when the amount of green manure returning to the field is 1 500.0 kg per 667 m2.
