摘要
Abstract
Objective:To investigate the components of dreams and the origin of these components for deciphering the reasons be-hind these strange and unusual dreams.This article is also to investigate whether there are differences in nightmares experienced during COVID-19 control time compared to ordinary periods,providing a reference for psychological intervention and support.Methods:A total of 280 individuals were selected for this survey.140 dreams from ordinary periods were recited by 140 individuals,while the other 140 dreams from the special period were told by the rest participants,followed by statistical analysis.Results:1)All the 280 dreams contained elements such as locations,people,and actions,but without specific dates.2)The components of these 280 dreams were generated from their experiences,observations,or stories they heard.3)The incidence of nightmare during the special period was 2.36 times higher than that in ordinary period,with female dreamers showing a signifi-cantly greater proportion.4)The distribution of nightmare dreamers in terms of marital status and age was generally consistent during the two periods.Conclusion:1)Dreams are a patchwork of the places,individuals,and actions that the dreamer has expe-rienced or encountered.It is unnecessary for individuals to worry about the peculiarities or weirdness of the dream itself.2)During the special times,mental health institutions and social psychological organizations should provide guidance and support to individ-uals,particularly for the mental health of women.关键词
