外源肌醇对小果型西瓜长势、品质及产量的影响
Effects of Exogenous Inositol on Growth,Quality and Yield of Small Fruit Citrullus lanatus

Abstract
In order to promote the steady development of watermelon seedling raising and production,and ensure that the cold resistance and fruit quality of watermelon seedlings can be improved under low temperature and early cultivation conditions,inositol treatment with different concentration gradients(0.5,1.0,2.0 g/L)was applied at two key growth stages,namely,seedling raising stage and transplanting,respectively,to systematically evaluate its effects on root development,plant morphogenesis,fruit quality formation and yield composition of watermelon seedlings.The results showed that exogenous inositol had no significant effect on the shoot growth of watermelon seedlings,but significantly increased the root activity.Among them,1.0 g/L treatment made the root activity reach 85.08 μg/(g·h),which was significantly increased by 35.3%compared with CK,and 0.5 g/L treatment significantly improved the root-shoot ratio and strong seedling index.After transplantation,compared with CK,all inositol treatments significantly increased stem diameter during the fruit expansion and maturation stages.The 0.5 g/L inositol treatment significantly enhanced the maximum leaf area during the vine elongation,fruit expansion and maturation stages,while the 1.0 g/L inositol treatment significantly increased leaf nitrogen content during the maturation stage.In terms of fruit quality,the 0.5 g/L inositol treatment significantly increased the marginal soluble solids content to 11.93%compared with CK,and the 1.0 g/L inositol treatment significantly elevated the vitamin C content to 0.091 4 mg/g compared with CK.Regarding yield,the 0.5 g/L and 1.0 g/L inositol treatments significantly increased single melon weight by 18.11%and 16.54%,respectively,compared with CK.The yield significantly rose to 3 388.65 kg and 3 351.00 kg per 667 m2,representing increases of 18.4%and 17.1%,respectively,with no significant difference between the two treatments.In conclusion,considering cost and overall benefits,the application of 0.5 g/L inositol throughout the growth period is recommended,as it delivers optimal results in seedling vigor,yield increase and sugar content improvement.If quality is the priority,the application of 1.0 g/L inositol throughout the growth period is advised,as it significantly enhances vitamin C content.关键词
