Abstract

Rail fatigue damage is common in subway operation.In order to explore the influence of different passenger flow loads on rail wear and rolling contact fatigue damage of subway,a vehicle-track dynamic model was established based on the multi-body dynamics software of UM.The most widely used subway single-section B-type vehicle in China was selected as the vehicle model,and the Kik-Piotrowski contact model was used to describe the wheel-rail contact relationship;Based on the Archard model,the rail wear was calculated.By changing the mass of the car body,different passenger flow load conditions were simulated,and the wear development law and rolling contact fa-tigue damage of the curved and straight rails were analyzed.It is found that the side wear and vertical wear of the curved outer rails were closely related to the passenger flow load of the train,that is,the larger the passenger flow load,the greater the wear value of the rail;The development rate of the outer rail side wear is the fastest,which is about 4.1 times that of the inner rail vertical wear and 17 times that of the straight vertical wear;Under the time-varying passenger flow,the side wear and vertical wear of the outer rails and the vertical wear of the inner rails in-crease with the increase of operation time,and the side wear of the outer rails develops fastest;The change of pas-senger flow load significantly affects the cumulative fatigue damage values of the rail,but the location of fatigue damage area remains unchanged.Different passenger flow of subway trains has significant impact on rail wear,and the influence weight of operation time is greater than that of train load;The wear error characterized by the develop-ment rate per million tons is smaller,which is suitable for the reference of rail wear research.Under time-varying passenger flow,rail wear and fatigue damage change significantly with passenger flow loads.The research results provide theoretical guidance for the management of subway operation companies.
