Abstract

When the pipe roof method is applied in urban sandy geological conditions,the stiffness control,jacking accuracy and process arrangement have a decisive impact on the project quality.Therefore,in order to study the ap-plication of key construction technologies in urban sandy soil continuous arch tunnels,based on a urban underpass,the secondary development function of ABAQUS software was used to design three group-pipe jacking sequence schemes and three types of pipe curtains by diameters to carry out numerical simulation studies and analyze the vari-ation law of ground surface settlement under different schemes.The research results show that the ground surface settlement value caused by the pipe jacking sequence scheme 3,which is jacking from the top of the middle pilot tunnel to both sides of the tunnel arch bottom,is the smallest,with the maximum settlement value of only 10.23 mm,which is better than the control requirement of the specification with significant settlement control effect;The pipe curtain with a diameter of 402 mm bears the minimum effective stress and consumes less materials;The combination scheme of scheme 3 and pipe roof with a diameter of 402 mm was applied to the on-site construction,both the arch top deformation and ground surface settlement values were within the allowable range,indicating that the scheme can effectively reduce the impact on ground surface settlement.The research results can provide a reference for the design and construction of pipe roofs in urban sandy tunnels.
