A literature review of the connection between socialized agricultural services and smallholder farmers
摘要
Abstract
The effective connection of socialized agricultural services with smallholder farmers is a crucial pathway for achieving agricultural modernization in China.Employing a systematic literature review approach,this study screens and analyzes domestic and international research since 1978 to explore the historical evolution,current challenges,and practical models of connecting so-cialized agricultural services with smallholder farmers.The study begins with a conceptual clarification,distinguishing"small peasants"from"smallholder farmers",and elucidates the connotations and functions of socialized agricultural services through the-oretical lenses.Through case analyses of three models——land trusteeship,agricultural co-management,and joint tillage&planting——it identifies enhancing farmers'organizational capacity and closely addressing smallholders'needs as key to successful integration.However,challenges persist,including mismatches between supply and demand,high transaction costs,and the marginalization of smallholders by large-scale operators.关键词
