摘要

Abstract

Benefitting from advantages such as environmental friendliness,safety,cost-effectiveness,and high desulfurization efficiency,the liquid-phase redox desulfurization technologies,represented by the chelated-iron desulfurization technology,are widely applied in the purification of H2 S-containing gases with a latent sulfur content of 0.2~10 t/d.However,the inherent technical challenges of this technology—such as equipment blockage,large equipment size and poor sulfur paste quality—have hindered its development.This paper summarizes recent research achievements in areas such as anti-blocking,regeneration equipment miniaturization,and resource utilization of by-products in chelated-iron process.However,further innovation in the desulfurization solution system,optimization of operating costs for sulfur paste refining,and enhanced skid-mounted equipment design are necessary to overcome barriers to industrial application and to improve the long-term stability,cost-effectiveness,and promotion of chelated-iron desulfurization units.
