Abstract

Orbital maneuvering is a key technology for maintaining the operation and management of Low Earth Orbit(LEO)satellite.Due to the difficulty in obtaining accurate LEO satellite maneuvers period and the impact of orbital maneuvers on Precise Orbit Determination(POD),in order to ensure the accuracy of satellite orbital information during maneuvering period,effective detection and processing of orbital maneuvers are required.Currently,most LEO satellite maneuver detection methods are based on Two-Line Element(TLE)data,due to the unstable data quality and long time span of TLE data,a maneuver detection method based on predicted carrier phase residuals is proposed.Through the analysis of onboard satellite observation data from Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment(GRACE)satellites,it is proved that this maneuver detection method can effectively detect the orbital maneuvers of LEO satellites,and the detection latency is within only 30 seconds.After processing the maneuvers using the variance inflation method,the orbit determination residuals indicate that the orbit after maneuver processing has good consistency with the observed values,and the accuracy of orbit determination residuals is improved by approximately 58.3%;The accuracy of Radial(R),Tangential(T),and Normal(N)orbits has been improved by 61.3%,57.8%,and 67.3%respectively comparing with the JPL precise orbital product.
