Abstract

Based on the important role played by the broadcast ephemeris of the Multiple Global Navigation Satellite System(Multi-GNSS)in navigation applications,taking the ShanDaWeiHai Station(SDWH)as an example,the long-term orbit and clock offset errors in the broadcast ephemeris collected by the four systems including GPS,GLONASS,Galileo and BeiDou during the station's routine operation from July 2022(when it was established)to February 2024 have been comparatively analyzed.The results show that the overall statistical accuracy is 91,52.5,16.7 cm for the broadcast orbit error of GPS satellites in the Along Cross and Radial(ACR)directions,217.1,117.2,46.2 cm for GLONASS satellites,23.5,19.3,11.2 cm for Galileo satellites,as well as 155.7,776.4,66.4 cm for Beidou Geostationary Orbit(GEO)satellites,84.1,113.5,36.6 cm for Inclined GeoSynchronous Orbit(IGSO)satellites,and 43.4,36.5,12.2 cm for Medium Earth Orbit(MEO)satellites,respectively.For the broadcast clock offset,no systematic errors exist generally for GPS with the corresponding standard deviation of 1.2 ns.While the overall mean value and standard deviation are-1.3 ns and 4.1 ns for GLONASS,which are worse than those of GPS.The accuracy is the best for Galileo with the values of-0.6 ns and 0.5 ns for the mean value and standard deviation respectively.The statistics of BeiDou broadcast clock offset errors exhibit the highest complexity,the overall mean values of clock offset errors for Beidou GEO/IGSO/MEO satellites are-12.8,16.9,12.6 ns,and 59,4.7,5.7 ns for their overall standard deviations.In response to the outlier characteristics of the statistical values derived from the Beidou C45/C46/C59/C60,the original scatter sequence patterns of their orbit and clock offset errors are analyzed to explain the relevant impact mechanisms.
