Study on the External Constraint Stiffness Under In-situ Reinforcement of Cross Materials in Transmission Towers

Abstract
In order to solve the problem of instability of the cross members of old transmission towers under extreme loads,an in-situ reinforcement technology is proposed to enhance the out-of-plane con-straint stiffness and overall stability.Three sets of reinforced specimens and one set of comparative specimens were designed to conduct reinforcement effect tests under different axial tensile forces,and the reinforcement effect was analyzed.At the same time,the influence of axial tension,reinforcement length and slenderness ratio on the reinforcement effect were studied by numerical simulation.The re-sults show that the new in-situ non-destructive reinforcement technology can effectively improve the out-of-plane constraint stiffness of the cross material,with a maximum increase of 63%,and the de-formation of the raw material and the reinforced angle steel after reinforcement is well coordinated.The reinforcement effect is affected by axial tension,reinforcement length,and aspect ratio.It decreases with increasing axial tension,increases with increasing reinforcement length,and decreases with in-creasing aspect ratio.Based on the approximate differential equation of deflection curve,a calculation method for the out-of-plane constraint stiffness of reinforced cross members is proposed,which pro-vides theoretical basis and technical reference for the design and engineering application of cross member reinforcement of transmission towers.关键词
