The Formation and Practice of Xi Jinping's Discourses on the Cultivation of the Teaching Workforce in Fujian

Abstract
Xi Jinping's discourses on the cultivation of the teaching workforce constitute the"teacher chapter"of his discourses on education.Fujian,a crucial birthplace and practice ground of Xi Jinping thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era,is also the site of origin of Xi's educational philosophy and the site for its implementation.During his tenure in Fujian,Xi Jinping attached great importance to education,particularly emphasizing and caring about the cultivation of the teaching workforce.From a strategic perspective of national rejuvenation,social development,and talent cultivation,he clearly stated that teachers'work cannot be measured with money and stressed that teaching is a noble and honorable profession.Focusing on key aspects such as ensuring political integrity,upholding professional ethics,and enhancing teaching competency,he prioritized comprehensive improvement of the teaching workforce.Through practical approaches like improving teachers'remuneration,fostering a culture of respecting and honoring teachers,and promoting the virtue of valuing education,he contributed to the widespread social norm of respecting teachers.Xi Jinping's theoretical reflections and practical explorations of the cultivation of the teaching workforce during his tenure in Fujian laid the ideological and practical foundation for his discourses on the cultivation of the teaching workforce in the new era.关键词
