Abstract
The instability problems of tailings dams without reinforcement under special working conditions should be analyzed using the limit equilibrium theory method and GEO-SLOPE software.The static stability safety factor of the dam body under different working conditions was calculated for the Mawuqing tailings pond.Results show that when the slope height is 13.0 m and the width is 26.0 m,the Stage Ⅲ dam heightening for capacity expansion reaches 18.0 m,and the dam crest elevation is+2 067.0 m.After reinforcement,the dam stability under both normal and flood conditions improves significantly.The stability coefficient under special working conditions meets the specified requirements.These findings can provide a reference for subsequent stability designs and similar projects.关键词
