Abstract

An increasing number of studies have demonstrated a close connection between green exposure and human health.There is an urgent need to synthesize existing literature and summarize the research progress in green exposure and the health of urban residents.The paper uses CiteSpace to make a bibliometric analysis of 626 articles retrieved from the Web of Science,PubMed and Scopus,and summarizes the developmental trajectory of the research on green exposure and the health of urban residents.It is concluded that the research has evolved through distinct phases from incubation period through exploratory period,rapid growth period to deepening period.Based on this analysis,the study reveals the trend of research directions through the analysis of keyword frequency,keywords burst and timelines,categorizes dimensions and benefits of the impact of green exposure on urban residents'health from physiological,psychological,and social perspectives,and summarizes the differences in research measurement methods and health benefits.Future efforts should be focused on deepening the analysis of the acting mechanisms through which green exposure impacts health benefits,optimize the research related to health of young and middle-aged individuals and social health,and establish a health risk monitoring system and a risk assessment model related to green exposure,so as to provide scientific basis and theoretical support for related research.
