Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of platelet rich plasma by intra-articular injection guided by ultrasound in the treatment of patients with knee osteoarthritis and influence for cartilage metabolic markers.Method:A random number table was used to divide 120 patients with knee osteoarthritis from Yantai Yuhuangding Hospital into two groups from September 2022 to May 2024.The control group(n=60)were treated with Sodium Hyaluronate by intra-articular injection guided by ultrasound,the observation group(n=60)were treated with platelet rich plasma by intra-articular injection guided by ultrasound.Then the total effective rates for knee osteoarthritis,cartilage thickness,synovial thickness,knee joint function state[Western Ontario and McMaster Universities osteoarthritis index(WOMAC score)]and cartilage metabolic markers[C-telopeptide of type Ⅱ collagen(CTX-Ⅱ),cartilage oligomeric matrix protein(COMP)and proteoglycan(PG)]before and after the treatment of two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in cartilage thickness,synovial membrane thickness,WOMAC score,and cartilage metabolism markers between the two groups(P>0.05);one month and three months after treatment,the cartilage thickness in the observation group were significantly thicker than those in the control group,the synovial membrane thickness were significantly thinner than those in the control group,and the WOMAC score and cartilage metabolism markers were significantly lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The effect of platelet rich plasma by intra-articular injection guided by ultrasound in the treatment of patients with knee osteoarthritis is better,and it can significantly improve the joint function state and cartilage metabolic markers of patients.关键词
