Effects of probiotics mixed feed on growth performance,immunity,diarrhea rate,and antioxidant capacity of xinjiang brown calf cattle
摘要
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects on growth performance,immunity,diarrhea rate,and antioxidant capacity of calves fed a diet mixed with probiotics.Sixty 7-day-old calves with similar body weight were randomly divided into two groups(n=30).The control group was fed milk replacer normally,and the experimental group was fed milk replacer supplemented with 0.2%mixed probiotics.The experiment period was 58 days.The results showed that compared with the control group,feeding a diet mixed with probiotics in experimental group significantly increased the final weight and daily gain of calves(P<0.05),significantly reduced the incidence of diarrhea(P<0.05),significantly increased the contents of IgA,SOD and CAT(P<0.05),significantly increased the contents of IgG and GSH-Px(P<0.01),and significantly decreased the content of MDA(P<0.05).These results indicate that a diet mixed with probiotics(0.2%)can improve the growth performance,immunity and antioxidant capacity of calves,improve the degree of diarrhea and reduce the incidence of diarrhea in calves.关键词
